This pistol appears to be a brand new unfired Model 1908 Pocket Pistol. Upon close inspection, it has been determined that the finish, albeit matches an original Colt, has been expertly restored to new condition. This gun had to go through the hands of eight experts to finally agree on the fact that the finish is not original. You would have to see it to fully appreciate the quality of polishing and plating required to reproduce the finish. Still retains sharp edges and legends. It is almost completely devoid of any surface scratches. Pearl grips have extraordinary color as you can still see the pink and purple hues and are polished like glass. It is as brand new as a nearly 100-year old gun can be as refinished. The nickel magazine is a good as the rest of the pistol. There is one tight crack approximately 1/4" long behind the escutcheon on the right grip panel.
