Lot consists of: Gun (A) US Trapdoor Model 1873. Serial number cannot be read due to pitting. Good "SWP 1884" Sam Porter cartouche on left side. CONDITION: Overall as found condition with dark chocolate patina and salt and pepper texture. Stock is very good to excellent with usual dings. Fine working order. Strong rifled bore. Very good, attic-find brown rifle. Gun (B) Remington rolling block. Exported rifle dated 1876 on right side of frame. Full length walnut forend. Rack stamps on right side of stock. CONDITION: Metal is brown patina. Stock is very good with usual dings. Strong rifling with black powder abrasion.
