Standard 1898 Krag. Features smooth buttplate, complete upper hand guard,a beautiful, near full length one piece walnut stock "JSA" Joseph S. Adams cartouche on left side and strong cursive "P" on wrist. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 90% of the original arsenal applied blued finish blending with homogeneous brown patina. Frame is a beautiful, soft, mottled dark grey. Box magazine has some age freckling. Trigger guard is basically grey patina, somewhat shiny. Traces of fire blue on extractor. Excellent to near mint stock with usual handling dings. Strong rifled bore. Fine action.
