Proofed in 1970, this full sidelock shotgun features 25-5/8" Bohler barrels with a narrow raised ventilated matted game rib with brass front bead. The straight grip butt is checkered in two point pattern through the wrist with inlaid teardrops behind the locks. There is a gold plaque near toe and the stock terminates with a deteriorating ventilated pad that should be replaced. There is a small comb raise glued on to the stock at the comb. The gun has double triggers (front trigger articulated), automatic ejectors, and non-auto safety. The splinter forend is near fully checkered with Anson type push button release at tip. The inlaid forend tip appears to be a horn replacement. The action is engraved in near full coverage rose and scroll engraving. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain about 95% original blued finish. The stocks have scattered scratches and hunting bumps. The action retains about 95% of its bold original case color. Left ejector will not trip consistently, otherwise mechanics are good. Bores are bright and shiny. Chambers extended to 3". JSL16
