Lot consists of: Gun (A) Model 1907 manufactured 1930. This was the second centerfire big bore auto-loading rifle produced by Winchester. an improved cartridge over the original Model 1905. It became very popular with law enforcement and thus was produced until 1957. It is a semi-automatic that loaded through a magazine with a push-rod assist for charging, plain pistol grip walnut stock, blued finish, sporting sights, rear sling swivel and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Barrel has blue-grey soft patina. Dent to upper crown. Receiver is grey with some age spots and some areas of cleaning. Wood is proud to metal with original finish and numerous dings. There is a crack on left side of forearm that could easily be repaired. Fine action. Very good bore that needs cleaning. Comes with a full box of original ammo and two correct magazines. Gun (B) Winchester Model 1892 short rifle manufactured 1892, first year production. No letter but looks to be a correct short rifle with full magazine, sporting front sight, ladder rear sight, walnut stock and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel legends are readable but the finish is basically gone; all brown-grey patina with age spotting overall. Wood is good with some chips where nosecap meets wood. Buttstock is shy to metal at upper tang on right side. Light damage to the nosecap threaded hole. Very good action. Visible rifling with black powder corrosion.
