Lot consists of: Gun (A) Belgian Browning Superposed manufactured 1959. Matching numbers. Features full matted rib, red bead front sight, blued finish, engraved boxlock frame, auto-ejectors, gold trigger, round knob pistol grip checkered walnut stocks and rubber waffle recoil pad. CONDITION: 98% original blue on barrels with some minor age spotting. Action has wear at base from carry, retains the majority of the blue on sides. Wear on edges of trigger guard. Wood is very good, proud to metal with great grain but has finish loss on right side and scratches on left. Strong, clean bores. Fine action. This shotgun would greatly benefit from refinishing the wood. Gun (B) is a well-used Remington Model 742 auto-loading sporting rifle. Features round barrel, sporting sights, blued finish, magazine fed, press checkering, pistol grip stock. Sports a Redfield 4x scope with Weaver mounts. CONDITION: This gun has seen years of use. The frame is a freckled mix of blue-brown patina. Barrel has overall light freckling, blue turning brown with some handling scratches. Buttstock finish has flaked severely, but solid. Very good bore and action. Just a decent old hunting rifle that has been out on the trial many times. Would still be a good hunting rifle for hanging around at the cabin and taking down a deer.
