Springfield manufactured 1903 bolt action rifle marked "Mk I" and cut for the Pedersen Device. Springfield barrel marked "SA" and dated 10-18. Original 1903 style rear sight, milled trigger guard and smooth buttplate. 1903 top wood and 03-A3 "C" stock buttstock. "R" marked bolt body. CONDITION: Barrel has 80% parkerized finish remaining. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 2. Action has 80% parkerizing left with worn corners. Metal parts have 70% remaining finish worn from handling. Stock has film of cosmoline with heavy usage marks. Top wood is original 1903 while bottom is 03-A3. Mechanics are good. Gun could possibly be an arsenal refit for World War II.
