Lot consists of: Gun (A) Colt Officers Model 38. 6" barrel with six shot cylinder. Adjustable front and rear sights. Blue finish. Mounted with a pair of thumb rest "Franzite" brand grips. CONDITION. Completely refinish with markings left very soft and almost illegible. Bore and chambers are very fine. Action is smooth and operates properly. Gun (B) Early Colt Trooper with round barrel chambered for .38 Special without lug. J frame square butt pattern with adjustable rear sight. These transitional Trooper Models have often been considered the "poor man's" Python. Mounted with a early pair of Colt checkered target stocks with medallions. CONDITION: Very fine with over 97% factory blue with loss at muzzle and high points of sights. Grips are excellent and action is very smooth. Bore and chambers are excellent.
