German Contract Model 1935 Beretta chambered for the 7.65mm cartridge and dated 1944. German contract code UT is found on right side of rear frame. This is one of the high polish earlier production example. Matching numbers are observed on frame, slide and barrel. Comes with finger rest magazine and two piece "PB" monogrammed grips with steel liners. This gun is featured on page 74 of the the book "Beretta Automatic Pistols" by J.B. Woods. CONDITION: Very good overall with most all blue finish remaining with slight spotting at safety and edge and high point wear. These earlier production German contract guns are difficult to find as most are of the later pattern with dull phosphate finish. Grips are very good with no material loss. Bore is excellent being bright with sharp lands and grooves.
