Manufactured in 1944 and marked with "4UT" German acceptance markings. Secondary polish is rather rudimentary for war expediency. Traditional Beretta slide markings with 1944 legend. Dark black phosphate finish on frame and mottled greenish finish on slide. Author Jan Still has stated that only 5,000 were produced in 1944 and had marked slides. Later variations had blank or unmarked slides. Matching numbers were observed on slide, frame and barrel. Plastic monogrammed grips with steel liners, finger rest magazine and frame equipped with lanyard loop. CONDITION: Very good overall with crisp action and excellent bore. Slide finish is mottled and backstrap is thinning.
