Beretta's first production military pistol the Model 1915 chambered for the 9mm Glisenti caliber. These pistols served the Italian military through World War I. 15,670 total production from 1915 to 1918. 15,300 produced for the military while the remaining 370 where sold commercially. This gun was manufactured November 11th, 1915 and is part of the first contract. Reference (Jan Still) "PS" marked frame and was probably Army issued. CONDITION: Very good overall with strong rifled bore with light frosting. Blue finish is very good with over 90% remaining with numerous minor bruises and scratches. Walnut grips are very fine with good checkering. Firing pin is not present. A very good example of one of Beretta's rarest models.
