Typical World War II mid-war issue. Features Keyes star stamped brown plastic grips, short checkered trigger, short checkered hammer without spurs, flat mainspring housing with lanyard, serrated slide stop, checkered safety, Type III beveled rear sight with square notch, High Standard World War II barrel. Slide is stamped "REMINGTON RAND INC SYRACUSE". Top of slide has proof "P". Left side of frame has the "FJA" Frank Atwood stamp. Right side of frame stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" with "RIA" rebuild stamp and Ordnance wheel. CONDITION: Pistol retains approximately 95% of the arsenal applied rebuild finish. Near new condition inside and out as World War II arsenal rebuild.
