Made in 1909, this lot features a solid frame Savage Model 1899 lightweight rifle with round barrel, blade front sight, elevator rear sight and blued high polish frame. Walnut wood stock with gloss finish and Savage logo Bakelite buttplate. Brass cartridge counter with case hardened lever. Lever style safety. CONDITION: Barrel retains 90% original blue with an excellent bore. Action has 90% remaining high polish blue with wear on the corners. Lever has 90% case colors left. Mechanically excellent and a great 1899. From the collection of Josh Weiner.
