Manufactured in 1941 with a contracted production of 36,000 pieces for the Romanian Military. Beretta Model 1934 chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge and is uniquely slide marked "9mm Scurt"(Romanian for "Short"). These pistols were used through the World War II era and a number of these were imported into the United States in the mid-2000 period. This example is import marked on the top of the numbers matching replacement barrel. Further matching numbers are found on frame and slide. Composite Beretta monogrammed grips with steel liners and lanyard loop. CONDITION: Very fine and shows little or no use. The bore is bright and shiny with no trace of actual use. The blue finish is excellent with only the slightest traces of edge wear from storage and handling. Action is crisp and properly functioning.
