Beretta Model of 1915 with "PS" inspection in oval indicating "Pubblica Sicurezza" (Public Security). Chambered for the 7.65mm cartridge having a soft blue finish and "PB" embossed grips with 24 line grasping grooves. These early Beretta pistols have the small ejection port that was later enlarged on the Model 1934 and Model 1935. Matching numbers are observed on the slide, frame and the barrel lug. Single action design with internal striker firing mechanism and lever type forward thumb safety. CONDITION: Very fine with most blue finish remaining. Finish loss is evident at forward end of slide and back strap. Bore and mechanics are excellent and action functions properly. Grips are very fine with minor bruising but no material loss. A very fine condition example of a very uncommon Beretta pistol.
