S Series Model 27-2 Smith & Wesson manufactured between 1953 & 1954. 5" round barrel with checkered rib and adjustable rear sight. Square butt N frame pattern with six shot cylinder and single and double action operation. Service style hammer and trigger. CONDITION: Fair with substantial finish loss at sides of barrel from carry use. Cylinder has same amount of wear at high points. Finish loss continues under grip line from used. Bore is bright and shiny with excellent chambers. approximately 65% factory blue finish remains. Good candidate for a custom "Bowen" type conversion or a great carry gun. Action is extremely smooth and operates properly. Gun is void of stocks.
