Made in 1949, this lot features a standard weight Winchester Model 70 rifle with blued barrel and action. Hooded ramp front sight with rear flip sight. Action has Leupold 4X scope mounted in Leupold style bases and rings. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with widow's peak steel buttplate and quick detachable sling swivel studs. Three position safety. Comes with leather scope covers. CONDITION: Barrel retains 80% original blue with excellent bore. Rear sight is a replacement along with sling swivel studs. Action has 70% finish with light handling marks. Floorplate has worn to 60% with light speckling. Wood has been cleaned with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Scope has good optics. Gun is mechanically sound and functions fine.
