Made in 1955, this lot features a Winchester 94 carbine with aftermarket engraving and carving. Blued barrel with hooded ramp front sight and floral engraving stretching from the rear elevated sight past the barrel for several inches and behind sight to receiver. Blued receiver with floral engraving on top and running deer with floral pattern on the left. Right side of receiver has crouching bear in a floral pattern. Lever and bottom of receiver are also covered in a floral pattern. Walnut wood stock with floral checkered pattern at wrist and running deer carved in right side of the buttstock. Walnut wood forearm has floral pattern embossed on it. Steel checkered buttplate and quick detachable sling swivels. CONDITION: Barrel retains 90% blue from a possible reblue. Bore is excellent. Action retains 90% reapplied finish with sharp engraving. Wood retains 90% finish with sharp carving. Added sling swivels. Nicely done customization of a 94 possibly done by a European gunsmith for a US serviceman.
