Made in 1926, this lot features a Winchester Model 94 Saddle Ring Carbine with shorter than standard barrel. Gun has blade front sight and Marbles buckhorn rear sight. Blued round nickel steel carbine barrel with full magazine and blued frame with saddle ring. Walnut wood buttstock with carbine butt. Walnut wood forearm measuring 8-1/16". CONDITION: Barrel retains a silvery patina with speckling and grind marks where barrel meets receiver. Bore is shootable. Rear sight looks to be a replacement. Barrel bands exhibit some pitting. Intact saddle ring. Wood has heavy usage marks with no cracks. Possibly a made up "Trapper" carbine.
