Mediumweight 22" sporter barrel is fitted with quarter rib holding single standing leaf express rear sight and is dovetailed for QD scope rings. Barrels are fitted with banded-on sling eye and front ramp holding white bead. Case hardened Hagn type dropping block action has usual roll safety on top tang. Operating lever and dropping block are blued. Action is engraved with wide scrolling acanthus borders around "B. Searcy & Co" on each side. Serial number is on top tang. Nicely streaked and lightly figured European walnut steel capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13 - 1/2" over brown leather covered pad, and features shadow line left hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering at grip, and a sling eye on toe line. Matching classically styled forend screws to aluminum hanger attached to action, allowing for free floating barrel. Weight: 7 lbs 10 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining over 95% custom finishes on all surfaces with some light flecking on barrel, high edge wear on operating lever, and a few marks in stock finish. Bore is excellent.
