Offered is a 100% all authentic and correct 1918 World War I Colt. Features include intertwined HP barrel stamp circa 1918, double edge rear sight with u notch, left side of slide has 1913 patent date with Pony in center, right side of slide is stamped Model of 1911 US Army, has wide spur checkered hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, long smooth trigger, flat mainspring housing with lanyard ring, left side of frame has Springfield Eagle Head proof, right side of frame has United States Property. Comes with diamond checkered walnut grips. Has a two tone tempered pinned base magazine. CONDITION: Overall, gun is a smooth clean homogeneous blue mixing with soft patina throughout with no cancer. Grips are excellent. Bore and action are excellent. Gun seems like it has seen very little use and most of the toning was probably caused by the holster acid, which tones the finish down relatively quickly.
