1943 production Colt Model 1911A1 pistol in outstanding unaltered condition with National Rifle Association sales ticket indicating sale price of $17.00. Matching serial numbers found on frame and on slide under firing pin retaining plate. Two piece brown plastic Keyes pattern grips. "L" marked magazine and inspected on frame "GHD" (Guy H. Drewry). Proper Colt marked barrel with "P" proof at link. CONDITION: Very fine overall with exceptionally fine bore, bright with razor sharp rifling. Very slight finish loss from holster wear at sides of slide and high points of sights. Corner wear exist at trigger guard and heel of frame. Ordnance wheel inspection is still bright steel as is feed ramp on frame and blue finished barrel. NRA sales ticket does not list serial number of gun but has purchasers name, address, etc. Comes in a reproduction military box for storage purposes only.
