A very fine Moore's patent teat fire revolver. All Moore's were engraved with Nimschke-style scrolls. Barrel has silver foresight. CONDITION: Barrel retains most of its original bright factory bluing. Cylinder retains 98% plus of the original bright factory blue. Hammer retains much faded case hardening. Frame is mostly brass with the silver having drifted, but not front use. The loading gate retains brilliant nitre blue with some fading. Screws retain much original finish. Rosewood grips retains considerable original varnish with a few minor dents. Butt screw is burred. Bore is brilliant showing little is any use. One rarely finds these popular Civil War era revolvers with this much original finish.
