A very fine factory engraved ivory gripped Merwin Hulbert medium frame single action revolver. Gun is engraved in classic Merwin Hulbert punch dot and stipple style with panel scene of owl sitting on a branch on left side of frame. CONDITION: Barrel retains 97% plus original nickle with only minor imperfections on rib. Cylinder retains 98% plus original nickle with faint tracking line. Frame retains 97% plus original nickle with some extremely minor rusting on front strap and backstrap. Hammer retains much original color case hardening. Full dimension ivory grips appear to be original. Action is good and crisp. Face of cylinder shows little if any use. Bore is good. An extremely attractive Merwin Hulbert sure to please the collector of these fascinating revolvers.
