Uncommon Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector Model 1950 Military. 5-1/2" light barrel chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge and intended for use with half moon clips. S Series serial number with N frame square butt and fitted with factory checkered medallion service stocks. Soft or brushed finish with forged round front sight and barrel marked "45 CAL. MODEL 1950". Less than 4,000 of these were manufactured from 1951 to 1966. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with little trace of use. Very slight high point wear on sight and a small scratch on top strap. Very light turn line on cylinder. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Action is smooth and operates properly. Case colored service trigger and hammer show little use. Diamond pattern grips are correctly numbered and are equally fine.
