The only military stamp we can find is the Ordnance bomb on butt. Features case colored hammer and trigger, two piece varnished walnut grips, arsenal parkerized finish and lanyard loop. Matching serial number on frame, barrel and cylinder. CONDITION: Gun shows only high edge wear throughout most of the gun with the exception of the inner grip strap which is thinning. Light high edge wear at muzzle and light cylinder drag line. Fine bore. Very fine, all original example of military marked World War II era Smith & Wesson double action revolver.
