Post-World War II S Series Pre-Model 27 Smith & Wesson revolver with 3-1/2" barrel, checkered top strap and diamond pattern service stocks with factory medallions. Target hammer with service trigger. These post-war production pre-27 revolvers are some of the finest ever produced by the factory. The fit and finish was truly unrivaled. CONDITION: The blue finish is excellent with over 98% remaining with only high point wear. Bore and chambers are excellent. The service stocks fit well but are numbered to another gun and have a small chip in the lower rear of the left grip. Action is smooth and operates properly.
