Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with a scene of sailing ships off the shore of islands with a stormy sky above. The island shore has a lighthouse and craggy trees. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on interior rim "HANDEL 7034". The shade rests on an original Handel base with leaf design around the foot and stem leading to a three-socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap. Signed on the underside "HANDEL". Some very light oxidation to interior of shade; otherwise very good to excellent. Base has considerable wear to finish; otherwise good. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord.
