Early double action six shot Frontier Model Smith & Wesson made from 1881-1913. Blued frame and barrel with 1-7/16" cylinder with elongated grooves between cylinder notches. Original black "S&W" logo checkered black composite grips. Case hardened trigger and hammer. CONDITION: Overall good condition with 50% blue remaining with balance turning a silvery patina with light speckling. Mechanically sound and functions fine. Strong rifling but dirty. Has matching number on cylinder, barrel and latch. All of the revolver in this series are antique regardless of date put together.
