Martially marked Remington 1858 New Model six shot percussion revolver. Made between 1863-1875 with a 132,000 produced this gun has "GP" George Palmer inspector marked two piece walnut grips with "P" inspector marks on barrel, frame and trigger guard. "W" and "J" marked cylinder and "A" near end of barrel. Gun has blued frame and barrel with brass trigger guard. Barrel with patent date, Remington address and "New Model" markings. CONDITION: Barrel has traces of blue. Ejector retains 75% blue. 50% blue on cylinder. Traces on frame. Overall good condition with good bore and sharp markings. Gun has used appearance, but not abused. Mechanically correct and functions fine.
