A good antique Colt action double action with 4-1/2" barrel. CONDITION: Barrel retains much original blue finish and perfect markings. Frame retains strong traces of bright colors case hardening. Blue is somewhat worn on the ejector rod housing. Blue on cylinder mostly flaked but strong in flutes. Trigger guard retains some original bright blue. Backstrap has some original bright bluing on saddle. Hammer retains bright polish on sides with some staining and bright blue on saddle and back of hammer. Trigger retains most of its original bright blue on back, some on the sides, and worn on front. Gutta percha grips are excellent with no chips and very little wear. Bore is good with some frosting. Action is excellent for a Lightning and requires no repair. This is a far better than usual Colt Lightning, most of which are nickel or heavily used.
