Springfield manufactured M1 Garand with a receiver made in October of 1942 and having a Harrington & Richardson marked barrel dated 2-52. Springfield milled trigger group with all "SA" marked parts. Fixed front sight with late rear style adjustable sight. "HRA" marked op rod. "SA" marked bolt. Wood stocks with "P" in circle cartouche. Comes with aftermarket Boyt military style leather sling marked "USMC". CONDITION: Barrel has original military finish with some wear behind sight that could indicate polishing. Bore is good. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 2. Stock is in good condition but has some added filler around action port to tighten up the stock. Cartouche is visible but fading from use. Gun has good honest look to it and is mechanically sound.
