Underwood manufactured M1 carbine with Underwood manufactured barrel dated 2-44. Correct "U" marked slide, "EU" marked sight, "WU" marked flat bolt, "S" marked rear flip sight and correct "U" marked trigger group with flat marked magazine catch. Unmarked sling swivel band. Correct oval cut low wood stock with "PU" cartouche in sling well with "GHD-UEF" cartouche with crossed cannons on right side of stock. "PU" marked shallow top wood with two rivets "SW" marked oiler with green woven period sling. Comes with late dimpled bottom clip marked "IS". CONDITION: Overall good condition with correct parts and markings. Excellent bore with good mechanics. ME reading: 2. Wood has excellent cartouches and some light handling marks. Clip has operation wear and sling is in excellent condition. Excellent late World War II manufactured Underwood carbine.
