Lot consists of: Gun (A) Czech BRNO vz. 24 short rifle, the standard rifle of the Czech armed forces prior to World War II. Import stamped under barrel and on frame. Frame marked vz. 24. Original serial 7387. Stock matches frame. No visible number on bolt. Walnut stock, military sights, original sling. All correct parts. CONDITION: Retains majority of arsenal applied finish. Good bore and action. Comes with a bayonet with different serial numbers on scabbard and hilt. Bayonet has Cyrillic printing, is dated 44 and clearly does not belong on this gun. (B) Mauser manufactured in Berlin. Entire crest has been ground off. Right side of receiver stamped Mod 1908. Given the original Model 1908 stamped on side, we believe that this is a Brazilian 1908 featuring 2000 meter sight, import stamped. Bolt stamped 1804. Original serial number was 4052. New sling. CONDITION: Stock is very good. Metal basically patina on barrel. Good action and strong rifled bore.
