Lot consists of: Three Finnish Mosin Nagant bolt action rifles. (A) Russian hex receiver has been scrubbed. SAKO barrel is dated 1942 with a "SA" property stamp on the left side. Matching numbers include receiver, bolt, and floorplate. "L" stock maker's cartouche is visible on right side of stock. Underside of barrel is import marked. (B) VKT hex receiver is dated 1942 with a "SA" property stamp forward of makers mark. Matching numbers include receiver and bolt. Floorplate is unnumbered. Right side of barrel is import marked. (C) Russian hex receiver with VKT "D" barrel. "SA" property stamp of left side of barrel shank. Matching numbers include barrel and bolt, floorplate has been scrubbed. Right side of barrel is import marked. CONDITION: (A) Metal components retain approx. 85% of original factory applied finish with areas of loss on receiver, floorplate, and muzzle. Woods retains most of applied varnish with visible handling marks and minor indentations on left side. Bore is frosty, but retains its sharp lands and grooves. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. (B) Metal components retain approx. 90%+ of reapplied factory finish with slight losses near the floorplate. Wood is exceptional retaining virtually all of the reapplied factory varnish and showing only a few minor handling marks throughout. Bore is bright and showing strong rifling within. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. (C) Metal components retain 95% of original factory applied finish with slight losses on magazine body. Rear stock has two pegs in place for break repair, left of stock near trigger guard also has a peg in place of a knot in the wood. Stock has handling marks scatter throughout, and retains virtually all factory applied varnish. Bore is bright and shows strong rifling. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. MW
