Lot consists of: Gun (A) Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor with spliced stock at center band. Buffington adjustable sight. CONDITION: Outstanding bright shiny bore with razor sharp rifling. Exterior finish is a combination of light patina and arsenal blue. Action is very crisp and operates properly. Stock splice is expertly done and is rigid. Would make an outstanding shooter. Gun (B) Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor rifle with Buffington rear adjustable sight. Full Length walnut stock with traces of the SWP cartouche. CONDITION: Bore is excellent. Bright and shiny with sharp rifling and a very light area of old pitting at muzzle. Exterior finish is a combination of blue and chocolate colored patina. Buffington sight operates properly. Action is crisp and operates correctly. A great rifle to shoot and enjoy.
