Lot consists of: Gun (A) Smith & Wesson K38 Masterpiece Pre-Model 14. Features six shot, double action built on the square butt K target frame with five screws, pinned barrel, recessed chambers, diamond checkered silver medallion Magna grips numbered to another gun. Matching numbers. Model was introduced in 1946, with this example made in 1950. Other features include Patridge front sight, full rib, adjustable rear sight, Kind style offset hammer and trigger shoe. CONDITION: Gun has been fired. Has wear at muzzle. 15" blue loss on cylinder. High edge wear around frame. Rear hump is brown patina. Grips are worn. Near mint bore and action. Should be one heck of a shooter. Gun (B) Smith & Wesson .38 M&P Model 1905 1st Change. Manufactured 1906 to 1909. Built on the square butt K frame with five screw, six shot, fluted cylinder. All matching numbers including diamond checkered walnut grip written in pencil on right panel. Also features pinned barrel, recessed chambers, blued finish and case colored hammer and trigger. CONDITION: Approximately 70% overall, brown patina coming through and mixing with grey. While not particularly collector condition, it is extremely nice with a fine, clean bore.
