M1 Garand made in August, 1943 by Springfield Armory. "SA" marked barrel dated 8-43. Correct early gas cylinder and rear early lock bar sight. Milled front blade fixed sight. All "HRA" marked stamped trigger guard and group. Wood stock with "SA" and "EMF" and crossed cannon cartouches. "P" in circle wrist proof with crossed cannons on grip cap. "SA" marked bolt and op rod. CONDITION: Overall good with 70% original arsenal finish with light handling marks. Bore is good. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 2. Mechanically sound. Excellent World War II gun with exception of trigger group.
