M1 Carbine made by Winchester between December 1943 and November 1944. Winchester "W" and proof marked undated barrel with unmarked milled front sight and "S" marked rear flip sight. Correct unmarked wide swivel. "W" marked recoil plate, trigger guard, sear and trigger. "EW" with "M" marked clip release. "EW" marked safety. "W" marked slide well and flat blued bolt. Early flat tip slide spring guide. Winchester flat wood forend buttstock with "W" in sling well and "WRA GHD" cartouche and crossed cannons ordnance mark on right side of butt. "W" marked two rivet hand guard. Winchester style splatter pattern buttplate. Comes with "SW" marked oiler, light colored sling marked "F-S Co 1943" and 15 shot clip marked "RUGG". CONDITION: Overall good with uncut stock and correct Winchester markings. Bore is good. ME reading: 2. Possibly arsenal refinished. Mechanically sound and functions fine.
