Made in 1958, this is a standard Winchester Model 61 in .22 SL&LR caliber. It has a 24" round barrel with 2/3 magazine. Lined forearm, uncheckered buttstock which terminates in a Winchester brand hard rubber buttplate. Serial number on bottom of frame and trigger plate assembly. CONDITION: Excellent as field used. Barrel retains about 95% original blue. Action with some very minor spotting retains more than 95% original blue. Stocks are mostly sound with a tiny loss at top right and retain most of their original finish with some minor marks and scratches. Mechanics are fine. Bore is good, bright with strong rifling. JSL
