Made with 30" twist steel barrels, this early lifter hammer shotgun has wave border engraving on the action and is marked "Parker Bros." on both sides. The ball grip stock was once checkered but checkering has worn off. Splinter forend with wedge fastener and steel tip, checkering worn near smooth. LOP is 14-1/2" over full steel buttplate. Accompanied by a PGCA letter describing the gun and additional correspondence from the PGCA on the gun. CONDITION: Fair. No original finish remains. Metal surfaces have turned mostly grey and silver. Stocks worn smooth with a subsequent old refinish and repairs around locks. Bores are poor. Would probably clean up with some restorative effort to make a nice vintage shooter. JSL
