Late Steyr-Daimer-Puch receiver dated 1945. Russian capture mark of left side of receiver. Matching numbers include: receiver, barrel, and stock. Faux Waffenamt stampings on right side of rear stock. Right side of barrel is import marked. CONDITION: Metal components retain 90% of Russian arsenal dipped finish. Bottom of trigger guard, bolt, stock disk, have been painted black. Follower shows light pitting under finish. Wood retains 85% of reapplied finish with considerable loss to finish between the muzzle and barrel bands. Scattered handling marks and small losses to finish around stock. Bore is bright and shows strong rifling throughout. Bolt is smooth and locks up tightly. A nice example of a late war Russian captured 98K that would make for a fine shooter.
