Lot consists of two Smith & Wesson nickel plated models 19-3 & 657 revolvers. (A) Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 revolver features: nickel finish, case colored hammer and trigger, target sights, and wood medallion grips. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 657 revolver features: stainless steel finish, target sights, and wood medallion grips. CONDITION: (A) Metal components retain virtually all factory applied nickel finish, showing minor scratches and handling marks around receiver and barrel with one deeper scratch on right side of receiver above trigger, and drag line on cylinder. Wood grips retains most of the applied varnish showing scattered handling marks and indentations all around. Left side grip has a 3/4" crack starting at the top of the grip and ending at the medallion. Small chip area on bottom front side of grips. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Action is smooth and indexes correctly. (B) Metal components retains nearly all factory applied stainless steel finish with few minute scratches visible, aside from cylinder drag line. Wood grips retain virtually all applied varnish with few signs of extensive use or handling marks. Mirror bore and smooth action that indexes correctly. MW
