Winchester manufactured M1 carbine made between December 1943 and November 1944. Winchester "W" and proof marked undated barrel with fixed milled unmarked front sight and flip "S" marked rear sight. Unmarked barrel band. "W" marked trigger guard and trigger group parts. Correct round safety with "EW" mark. Replaced slide spring guide with flat tip. "W" marked slide well, "W" marked flat style blued bolt and Winchester integral gas cylinder. Winchester marked two rivet hand guard. "W.R.A. G.H.D." marked flat forend buttstock with "W" in sling well, splatter pattern buttplate, crossed cannon ordnance cartouche and "122" stamped racking number. Comes with green woven sling, unmarked oiler and "U" marked clip. CONDITION: Gun has 80% original arsenal finish with operation wear. Good bore. ME reading: 2. Mechanically sound and great Winchester carbine.
