This is one of the more unusual and interesting single shot pistols we have encountered. A touch on top of the release automatically opens the action and extracts the cartridge. CONDITION: The long octagonal barrel with finely matted rib and front sight retain nearly all its original slightly dull blue. Finely engraved frame retains much of the original color case hardening. The elaborate adjustable rear sight retains most of the original bright blue. Trigger guard has most of its case hardening. Note: the trigger guard originally has a full bow, this has been carefully removed to facilitate use of the set trigger. Set trigger functions as it should. Bore is excellent. Checkered grip and forend retain much of their original varnish with the exception of the modification to the trigger guard, as noted. This is one of the better shingle shot .22 pistols we have cataloged. CORRECTION: This gun is a “System Victoria” and is one of the rarer German Target pistols.
