Lot consists of: (A) Ruger Single Six with the following features: 1955 construction date, two tone finish, single action, no transfer bar, fixed blade serrated front sight, wind adjustable rear, flat gate, six shot fluted cylinder, silver Phoenix medallion wood grips. Has early ejector rod serrated thumb piece. Gun has also been extensively engraved on barrel, frame, top strap, hammer, backstrap, butt, ejector rod housing, and trigger guard. Signed "MS" on left side, near back of barrel. Might be factory engraving. CONDITION: Gun is in excellent used condition with scattered handling marks. Still retains a comfortable 98% of reapplied finish. Cylinder face has some traces of burn and a ghost of a drag line. Frame was originally blued and is now in the white and various marks can be seen where it was removed. Some bluing left in corners. Hammer and trigger are turning plum. Grips are very good with some handling marks. Barrel is shiny with good rifling. Fine action. Gun (B) Ruger Single Six in .22 with the following features: 1956 construction date, blue finish, single action, no transfer bar, fixed blade front, wind adjustable rear, flat gate, six shot fluted cylinder, correct brown composite grips with silver Phoenix medallion. Ejector rod has early serrated thumb piece. CONDITION: Gun is in good used condition with scattered marks from use. Cylinder face shows burn and has a light drag line. Right side of hammer shows some age freckling. Touch of wear at top of ejector rod housing at at muzzle. Small spot of age freckling on left side of barrel. Still retains a comfortable 95+% of bluing. Grips in similar good condition with some handling marks but no losses. Fine bore and action with sharp lands and grooves and a tight lockup. A nice pair of .22 rimfire revolvers.
