Manufactured in 1923, Colt New Service Revolver with 5-1/2" barrel chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge. Two piece Colt hard rubber grips numbered internally with full matching serial number. Single and double action operation and with lanyard swivel on butt. CONDITION: Excellent with over 97% bright factory blue remaining with very slight thinning on back strap and a minor scratch on butt. Leading edges of cylinder flutes have a trace of finish loss from storage. The balance is superb. Bore and chambers are excellent with sharp lands and grooves and bright. Action is smooth and properly functioning. Grips are good with one very small chip at outer rim of base of left grip. A very fine specimen overall and hard to improve upon.
