Issued in 1973 with a production of 8,000 sets being sold with matching serial numbered Bowie knife. Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the famed Texas Rangers. K frame square butt variation with 4" pinned barrel and recessed chambers. Smith & Wesson smooth target stocks with Texas Star medallions. Target hammer and trigger with Texas Ranger seal and the dated 1823 and 1973 inlaid in gold. CONDITION: Very fine with a minimal amount of handling. Blue finish is excellent with a very light cylinder drag line. Gun appears unfired. Matching serial numbered Smith & Wesson Bowie knife is equally fine. Case is excellent with some very minor scuffing on top of lid from storage.
