.44 New Century Triple Lock Smith & Wesson Revolver chambered for the .44 S&W Special cartridge. Blue finish with 6-1/2" barrel with factory gold medallion checkered grips. The "Triple Lock" had a very limited production of 15376 guns according to Smith & Wesson records. This revolver is documented with a factory letter indicating it was shipped from the factory September 2, 1913 to H.A. Astlett & Company New York City. CONDITION: Good overall with bright bore and sharp rifling. Action is smooth and functions properly. Right grip is numbered to revolver very lightly in pencil. Blue finish is fair with 15-20% remaining and moderate light salt and pepper pitting overall, balance turning patina.
