Factory records state this revolver was shipped March 14th, 1962 and delivered to Freeland's Scope Stand Inc., Rock Island, Illinois. Model 51 was first produced in May of 1960 on the J frame. This revolver features J frame with three screws, pinned barrel, recessed chamber, adjustable target rear sight, six shot fluted cylinder, blue finish, case color hammer and trigger, flat latch, and silver medallion diamond checkered square butt grips with matching number on right panel. CONDITION: Cylinder has a light drag line and some high point edge wear. Touch of wear at muzzle, couple of handling marks and freckling on straps. Near new inside and out.
